Who We Are

It all started with a Windows 95 computer and a run-down house design software that his mom bought him from Staples. As a young boy in elementary school, Josh Huskins would spend weekends staying up until the wee early hours designing homes. With excitement, he would wake his mom up in the middle of the night just to show her the house he had just finished. From that point on, his creativity in architectural design never stopped!

After learning AutoCAD in high school, he quickly realized that he wanted to design buildings. While attending college at the University of Akron, he began working for a large production builder where he discovered his passion for residential home design. After starting at the bottom and professionally learning blueprint design, he was promoted to designing the company’s standard plans. After 10 years, he made an industry switch into the realm of designing custom homes and this transition was was all it took.

After a couple short years, Josh decided it was his time to start his own design company. He took that leap of faith in 2018 and from this, Vesta Design was born! Josh has since designed hundreds of homes in dozens of states. His dedication to customer service and delivering the highest quality designs has built him a reputation of excellence from home builders to home owners, and everyone in between. That reputation that was built on a solid foundation of respect, integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
